Fakultet for lærerutdanning og internasjonale studier (LUI) har ca. 650 ansatte og 7400 studenter, og holder til i Oslo og Viken. Institutt for internasjonale studier og tolkeutdanning (IST) har ledende fagmiljøer innen utviklingsstudier, tegnspråktolking og tolking i offentlig sektor, og virksomheten kjennetegnes av utstrakt internasjonalt samarbeid. Instituttet tilbyr bachelorutdanninger i utviklingsstudier, tegnspråk og tolking, samt tolking i offentlig sektor. Instituttet tilbyr masterutdanning i internasjonal utdanning og utvikling, og har ansvar for emner i tegnspråkdidaktikk i grunnskoleutdanningen. I tillegg tilbys en rekke videreutdanningsemner.
The Faculty of Education and International Studies announces one post-doctoral fellowship position in socio-legal studies affiliated with Riverine Rights research project in the Section for International Development in the Department of International Studies and Interpreting.
The position is linked to the project Riverine Rights – Exploring the Currents and Consequences of Legal Innovations on the Rights of Rivers, which is financed by the FRIPRO Programme of the Norwegian Research Council (please see https://uni.oslomet.no/riverrights/). The project investigates cases from New Zealand, Colombia and India where rivers have been granted legal personhood, and the implications of these cases.
The position is fully funded for three years, available as soon as possible.
Applicants must submit a project proposal with the application, outlining the main objective, the background for the proposed project, theoretical framework, research question(s) and expected finding, and methods. The project description must be in written in English.

The position is remunerated in accordance with the Basic Collective Agreement for the Civil Service and OsloMets salary policy 1352 Postdoc. The salary is NOK 523.200 – 682 200 per year, depending on level of competence / length of service.
