The Faculty of Health Sciences consists of five departments and offers study programmes on all levels, including PhD. The faculty has about 6000 students and nearly 600 members of staff.

Department of Behavioural Sciences har approximately 750 students and 60 employees. The department is represented at all three campus; Kjeller, Pilestredet and Sandvika.

The Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Behavioural Sciences, is looking for a new colleague for a one year engagement in a full-time position as associate professor in behaviour analysis and/or psychology. The position will consist of 75% teaching assignments and 25% academic development/administration. The teaching duties will be related to all study programmes at the department, but mainly to the Bachelor's Programme in Psychology with an Emphasis on Behaviour Analysis.

Main duties of the position

  • teaching
  • responsibility for the courses
  • grading and development of grounds for assessment
  • assignment supervision (including bachelor's theses)
  • contribute to the further development of the study programme in accordance with plans prepared on the basis of external evaluation

Applicants must:

  • have a PhD in behaviour analysis and/or psychology
  • have experience of teaching, planning teaching activities, supervision and grading
  • master Norwegian/a Scandinavian language
  • good oral and written English skills
  • master the quantitative Method

The candidate should have

  • experience of applying behaviour science in practice
  • documented teaching qualifications or experience
  • experience of digital learning tools

The salary for the position is in accordance with the Basic Collective Agreement for state employees and OsloMet’s pay policy for the position code and title, pay grade 60–74, i.e. NOK 532,300–691,400 per year. A higher salary may be considered for particularly well-qualified applicants.
