Oslo Business School invites applications for a four-year PhD Research Fellowship in Economics. The position is affiliated with the Economics and Methodology Group and includes 25% teaching and administrative duties. The successful candidate will be admitted to the PhD Programme in Social Sciences at OsloMet.
The Economics and Methodology Group is a research-active faculty working in areas such as development economics, industrial organization, behavioral and experimental economics, climate and environmental economics, sustainable development, and modern macroeconomics. The group manages externally funded research projects, hosts a weekly seminar series and workshops, and actively engages in public debates.
This is an open-topic fellowship, with research proposals aligned with the group's research interests being given priority. Information about the faculty's research profiles can be found through the link above.
The purpose of the position is to conduct an independent research project leading to a doctoral degree. The research fellow will be employed at Oslo Business School and participate in the activities of the Economics and Methodology Group. The position includes 25% compulsory duties, typically consisting of teaching, supervision, or administrative tasks.

Admission to the doctoral programme is a prerequisite. Admission to the doctoral programme is based on a comprehensive assessment of the application, including the relevance and quality of the project description. A final project plan for the fellowship period is required com-pleted and acknowledged within 3 months from the date of employment.
