The Rector is the university’s general manager and is responsible for managing its activities in accordance with the framework and instructions adopted by the Board. The Rector reports to the Board.
The Rector must have the formal qualifications required for appointment to an academic position at a university or university college (PhD degree) and have first-hand experience of the university’s core activities: teaching, research, dissemination and innovation.
