Oslo Metropolitan University is Norway's third largest university with almost 22,000 students and over 2,500 employees. We have campuses in central Oslo and at Romerike. The Faculty of Technology, Art and Design (TKD) offers higher education and research and development (R&D) activities within technical subjects, arts and design. The Faculty has approximately 4.000 students and 400 staff members and is situated at Pilestredet Campus in downtown Oslo and at Kjeller Campus in Viken.
The Faculty of Technology, Art and Design (TKD) is seeking a new person to operate and further develop Makerspace. OsloMet Makerspace is an interdisciplinary project room used in organized teaching and is open Monday to Friday 09 - 21 for students and other interested parties. The position is related to the operation of Makerspace, and the development and implementation of teaching in Makerspace. The person employed in the position must work in a team of manager and student mentors in a student-active learning environment. The position also involves networking, marketing of Makerspace and establishing projects.
Experience from work in Makerspace or similar will be emphasized.

The salary for the position is in accordance with the pay scale for Norwegian state employees, 1085 avdelingsingeniør paygrade 40-52, NOK 386 200 – 464 000 per year or 1087 overingeniør, paygrade 53-60, NOK 472 000 – 532 300 per year. A higher salary may be considered for particularly well qualified applicants. Law deducts 2% of the salary to the State Pension Fund.
