The Faculty of Health Sciences consists of five departments and offers study programmes on all levels, including PhD. The faculty has about 6000 students and nearly 600 members of staff.

Department of Behavioural Sciences har approximately 750 students and 60 employees. The department is represented at all three campus; Kjeller, Pilestredet and Sandvika.

Associate professor in behaviour analysis and psychology


The Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Behavioural Science, is looking for a new employee for a one year engagement in a full-time position as associate professor in behavioural science and psychology. The position will consist of teaching relating to the Bachelor’s Programme in Psychology with an emphasis on behaviour analysis


Main duties of the position

  • teaching
  • responsibility for the courses
  • grading and development of grounds for assessment
  • assignment supervision (including bachelor's theses)
  • implementation of a new programme description (new course description, new learning outcomes, and new work methods)


Applicants must have:

  • a Ph.D. degree in behavioural science and psychology
  • experience of teaching, planning of teaching activities, supervision and grading
  • good oral and written English skills


Applicants should have:

  • experience of practical application of behavioural science in order to give students examples of how theoretical knowledge can be applied in practice
  • documented teaching qualifications or experience
  • experience with digital learning Tools

The salary for the position is in accordance with the pay scale for state employees, position code 1011, associate professor, currently NOK 524,200 –682,200. A higher salary may be considered for particularly well-qualified applicants.
